The features are free to read on the website and we are a non-profit Community Interest Company.

The Public Interest News Foundation, of which the Eastbourne Reporter is a member, launches ‘Indie News Week’ today to highlight how independent news providers like us cannot survive without reader support.
Journalism is in crisis: investigating and communicating news costs money. Without community- based journalism like the Eastbourne Reporter, who will hold those in power to account and how will communities stay informed of issues that affect them? I wrote about the problem here.
